Paper Chase - Good for the Ego!

Ms X wants to become a doctor. Need an estimated RM500k (tuition fees, food, lodging all in) for the 6 years course somewhere out there. Entrepreneur dad did a calculation. Told his daughter.

"Why susah-susah, spend 6 years sleeping in a cramped room with some strangers, eating instant noodles, burning midnight oil, away from the family and then after graduating, getting depressed and miserable treating sick people in not so friendly government hospital - here is the RM500k, buy some shares and properties. In fact, there is enough to start a small business. In 6 years time, you could double or triple the money".. Huh!
